Chelsea Christensen, DNP, CRNA
Nurse Anesthesiologist
I am a board-certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) who graduated from Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah. After completing my training in New Mexico and Utah, I relocated to Arizona to begin my clinical practice at a community hospital in Surprise, Arizona, where I provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical specialties.
My clinical experience includes general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, plastics, urology, vascular, ENT, endoscopy, gynecology, spine, cath lab, and occasional healthy pediatric procedures. I am proficient in regional anesthesia and neuraxial techniques and work collaboratively with surgical teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
I regularly care for an elderly patient population, which has strengthened my focus on thoughtful anesthetic planning, hemodynamic stability, and optimized postoperative recovery. I approach each case with preparation, adaptability, and a calm presence—prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the perioperative process.
